To Constantinople. Our brother and fellow bishop Marinianus has written that he wishes to dispatch his own deacon to the royal city [Constantinople] on behalf of the interests of his church. And since he wanted him to be commended most earnestly to your Charity, by these present writings we exhort you that, wherever it shall be necessary, you should assist him with sound counsel and so hasten to support him in all things, that your charity, in which our aforesaid brother greatly trusts, he may come to know in deed.
