It was not Philoxenus alone who, returning improved, spurred his brother to follow, but also a certain cousin of Philoxenus — for you know whom I mean, even if you pretend not to.

Indeed, on account of this second young man, both Philoxenus and his brother ought to have been attending your school, since we have nothing here so great or so fine in quality and abundance as what you offer. And yet Titianus does contribute something to letters in this city — but I see more clearly the treasure he keeps at home.

Do tell the mother of those two young men, however, that we have summer here too, and that a moderate breeze blows at that season.
