illness

To Apella,

When I first took charge of the see of Cyrrhus, I brought in practitioners of essential trades from every direction and recruited skilled physicians to settle there. One of these is the reverend presbyter Peter, who practices medicine with wisdom and adorns his profession by his character. Since my departure, several of these men have left the city, and Peter too has decided to go. I ask your excellency to look after him. He is well able to care for the sick and to fight their ailments.
