Letter 4: Festal.
Festal.
The Creator of our souls and bodies has showered good things on both together. At the very time of the sacred feast he sent us the rain we so longed for, clearing away any shadow of sadness from our celebration. We have praised our generous Lord with full hearts, and now, as is our custom, we send this festal letter and beg your piety to uphold us in prayer.
