Those whom our Redeemer graciously converts from the dead end of Judaism we ought to assist with reasonable generosity, so that — God forbid — they do not suffer from lack of food.
We therefore charge you, by the authority of this order, to provide money each year to the children of Justa, who is of the Hebrews — namely, to Julianus, Redemptus, and Fortuna — beginning from the coming thirteenth indiction. See to it that this payment is entered in your accounts without fail.
